Everton manager Marco Silva has insisted that striker Cenk Tosun still has a future at Goodison Park, despite having seemingly fallen down the pecking order, as reported by The Guardian.
The 35-cap Turkey international joined the Toffees last January, for a fee of £27 million. However, the 27-year-old has since failed to shine on Merseyside, and has seen both Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison handed the responsibility of leading the line in his stead.

In 30 appearances for Everton, Tosun has managed just seven goals and two assists. At this point, he has to be considered a huge flop. Everton simply can’t afford for such big transfers not to pay off.
Despite what Silva says, unless Tosun can turn his form around very quickly, he should not have much more of the future at Goodison Park. If the Toffees are serious about challenging the ‘big six’ in the Premier League, they need their big-money forwards to be scoring goals.
What do you think, Everton fans, should Tosun have a future under Silva?
